Welcome to the American Housing Opportunity Fund website. AMHOF is a nonprofit loan fund
working in Washington, DC and Takoma Park, MD to help protect low income residents from
third party offers presented on their buildings.
In addition to providing loans that other loan funds will not provide, we also provide technical
assistance each step of the way to help low income residents become first time homeowners.
